Data from web services is usually nested: dictionaries containing lists of dictionaries containing more lists. Here's the kind of thing a weather service might send:

import json

response = json.loads("""
{
  "location": {"name": "Deal", "country": "UK"},
  "forecast": [
    {"day": "Mon", "high": 15, "low": 9, "conditions": ["sunny"]},
    {"day": "Tue", "high": 12, "low": 8, "conditions": ["cloudy", "rain"]},
    {"day": "Wed", "high": 14, "low": 7, "conditions": ["windy"]}
  ]
}
""")

print(response["location"]["name"])
print(response["forecast"][1]["conditions"][-1])
for day in response["forecast"]:
    print(f'{day["day"]}: {day["low"]} to {day["high"]}')
wet = [d["day"] for d in response["forecast"] if "rain" in d["conditions"]]
print("Rain on:", wet)

Work inwards one level at a time: response["forecast"] is a list, [1] is a dictionary, ["conditions"] is a list. When a key might be missing, use .get() with a default instead of square brackets.
