"Can we take orders online?" is the question small food businesses ask most. The usual answers are a big ecommerce platform they don't need or a Facebook inbox they can't keep up with. This is the size of answer that actually fits.
Ordering
Customers browse by category, add to a basket, and check out with a name, a collection day and a time slot. No accounts to create and no card details in the demo. Payment happens at the counter, and in a real build a card step slots into the same checkout.
Each visitor gets their own basket. The orders themselves land on a shared board, which is the fun of the demo: place an order, then walk around to the baker's side and handle it yourself.
The baker's side
Orders arrive as cards sorted by status: new ones first, then accepted, then ready. Each card shows the items, the collection slot and any notes, with one button for the next step. The products screen takes something off sale in one click when the last loaf goes, and it disappears from the shop straight away.
